i’m not the kind of person who will sit there with you and keep asking, “what’s wrong? are you ok?” while you’re obviously upset. i’ll probably just hand you a box of tissues and maybe even a glass of water and then leave you alone. it’s not because i don’t care or think your problems are stupid, i just think that sometimes people need to cry by themselves. normally i don’t think people should go through hardships alone, but it can be really therapeutic to just cry and not have to answer people’s questions about what’s wrong.
